Klacks is open source under the GNU AGPL-3.0. For most organizations, that is all they need. If you want to build Klacks into a closed product or keep your changes private, you can get a commercial license.
You install Klacks and schedule your staff with it. No license fees and no license agreement.
You modify Klacks and make the modified source code available to everyone who uses your installation over a network.
Service providers install and support Klacks for their clients. They publish their own changes under the AGPL.
You include Klacks or parts of it in your own software whose source code you do not want to publish.
You offer a modified version of Klacks over a network without sharing the source code of your changes.
Your organization does not allow software under the AGPL internally.
The commercial license releases you from the obligations of the AGPL. We agree on scope, term and price individually, based on how you use Klacks.
Income from commercial licenses funds further development. Klacks remains available to everyone under the AGPL, and so does every accepted community contribution.
Tell us briefly how you plan to use Klacks. You will get a personal reply.
