No generic off-the-shelf AI. Control the tone, autonomy, and terminology of a scheduling assistant that follows your exact rules — rule-based, traceable, in your hands.
Note on the sample data: All names, places (for example Winterthur), addresses and figures in these recordings are fictitious demo data with a Swiss background, written in Latin script. They only illustrate the product – you do not need to know or be able to read them. In your own installation you enter your own data, and the interface is multilingual.
Standard chatbots know nothing about your workplace agreements, qualification requirements, or industry-specific regulations — every answer is a shot in the dark.
With many AI tools, it's unclear what the AI may change on its own and what it may not — a risk as soon as real schedules are involved.
A standard AI doesn't understand your company's internal abbreviations and terminology — every request first has to be laboriously explained.
Klacks is installed on your own infrastructure — via Docker; allow about half an hour for the first start.
Public holidays and rest periods come preconfigured for your country, surcharges where defined for your country — and you can adjust them anytime.
Klacks builds shift plans, flags conflicts and optimizes routes — with an AI assistant if you want.
Four dials that turn Klacksy into your own assistant.
Four adjustable levels let you decide, per user, how much Klacksy may do on its own — from pure suggestions to independent changes. Sensitive actions always require your confirmation.
You describe a company rule right in the chat — for example, “night shift surcharge 25% from 11pm” or “maximum 3 night shifts per week.” Klacksy asks targeted follow-up questions until all required details are complete and verified, shows a preview of the result, and saves it only after your explicit confirmation — retrievable in the chat at any time, and reversible.
In the dictionary, you store company-specific terms with their variants so that voice input recognises them correctly. Klacksy can also remember in-house abbreviations as a note.
Under Settings you'll find the personality editor “Klacksy Personality”: there you set Klacksy's tone and character — to match your company culture.
Short videos from the running app, sorted by topic. Choose a chapter; only the video of the open chapter ever plays.

You tell Klacksy what to do — Klacksy shows a preview first and applies it only after you confirm.
Plan a week - Video 1 of 4
Waiting times in the video are shortened and marked. How quickly Klacksy responds depends on the chosen AI model; depending on the size of your business, the planning engine takes a few minutes to calculate.

The autonomy level is set to “Propose”: Klacksy proposes every step first, and the planning engine checks staff qualifications — the final decision always stays with the care manager. The night-shift surcharge rule was set up by chat, and the abbreviations used in-house were saved as a note for Klacksy. The assistant already responds accordingly today — with no programming at all.
Try the Playground to see how Klacksy adopts autonomy levels, personality, and terminology — or install Klacks directly on your own infrastructure. No license fees, no registration required.
Klacks is open source under the AGPL-3.0. Host it yourself, keep your data with you, pay no license fees — you stay in full control.
