work-setting

Under Settings > Working Time & Scheduling > Scheduling Basics you set the company-wide default values for vacation, contract durations, surcharges, and the visibility of the schedule.

How it works

Vacation and deadlines: Vacation days per year, probation period (in months), and notice period (in days) as plain numeric fields.

Payment interval: Choice between Weekly, Biweekly, Monthly, and Custom.

Surcharges: Night, holiday, Saturday, and Sunday surcharge, each in percent; entries are automatically clamped to the 0–100 range.

Visibility in the schedule: "Days before" and "days after" determine how many days before and after the current date are visible in the schedule (0–31 days, also automatically clamped).

Saving: This card lives in the Working Time & Scheduling section of the settings page (alongside Scheduling Rules and Wizard Settings). Changes are collected and saved or discarded via the settings page's shared save bar — there is no dedicated save button on this card.

Good to know

  • These values are company-wide default values. Each individual contract template can additionally have its own, independent surcharge rates, its own payment interval, and its own holiday calendar (see Settings > Contracts) — see that page for details on how the two levels interact.
  • The surcharge rates should be understood as percentages/multipliers, not as absolute amounts.
