periodenabschluss
Period closing is your month-end workspace: you release individual days, close the period, and seal it — sealed data is the binding basis for evaluations and exports.
How it works
The page is organized into three tabs: Periods, Exports, and Log.
- Choose the period: Narrow down the time range with a start and end date and, if needed, filter to a group (or "All groups"). Available payment intervals are weekly, biweekly, monthly, or custom.
- Seal: As an administrator, use Seal period (or Seal all) to close the entries. A confirmation dialog first shows how many entries are affected.
- Export: From sealed periods you generate exports — as CSV, JSON, XML, DATEV, or BMD NTCS, with selectable language and currency; optionally scoped to a specific order. The Exports tab lists all generated files with time range, creation date, and creator.
- Reopen: As an administrator you can reopen a sealed period if necessary (Reopen period or Unseal all). A justification is mandatory.
- Log: Every sealing and reopening is recorded in the Log tab — with the action, timestamp, and the person who performed it.
Good to know
- Shifts that are not closed are not exported. Klacks warns you when only some of the shifts are closed ("x of y shifts are closed").
- If an export has already been generated for a time range, Klacks warns you about further changes: they can cause discrepancies with your accounting.
- Reopening a sealed period can affect payroll — that's why Klacks asks for confirmation and requires a justification.
- You reach period closing via the closing icon in the left-hand navigation.
